ISC Donations Make Vigil Family Foundation Scholarships a Reality

Earlier this year, ISC provided donations to the Vigil Family Foundation (VFF) to help fund their yearly Fabiola M. Vigil Memorial Scholarships. These scholarships provide $6,000, $4,000 and $2,000 to deserving students in Northern New Mexico who intend to pursue an education in STEM subjects or renewable energy. Each applicant had to provide essays reflecting on how climate change has affected their community as well as how renewable energy can have an impact. These scholarships and VFF intend to make a real impact on the shift to clean energy, while supporting a family legacy of education.
