SOLAR SITE EVALUATIONS & FEASIBILITY STUDIES, ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT & CONSTRUCTION

Vulture Mill

Industrial Solar Consulting was contracted to provide feasibility studies, engineering, procurement and installation of solar on this critical Superfund site. This agricultural property required yearly vegetation cover to prevent remediated contaminants from spreading, necessitating the integration of variable frequency drives (VFD’s) to reduce a power surge from pump motors. The ISC agrovoltaics system design allowed for all agricultural activities to be powered from solar and storage, eliminating the client’s need to purchase power from the grid and alleviating high time of use (TOU) and demand charges. Excess power was also exported to the grid, further increasing their ROI.
